Early closing last night

Apparently the old bill were going around last night shutting every bar down for midnight.

This included at least one venue that normally, for want of a better phrase, does not usually come under scrutiny.

Apparently the reason given was the recent accident where the drunk girl killed the cyclists.

This from a Thai friend who was told to close.

I would call 6:15am the morning.

As noted, this has been going on since the drunk driver killed three cyclists. Everyone assumes enforcement will eventually be relaxed and favored bars will be allowed to stay open late while others will have to close at legal closing times.

Until then, I suggest getting an early start. That's what I did last night, it worked really well.

I would call 6:15am the morning.

6:15am is about the time that most of the old guys here will be getting up to have a wee. It could actually be anywhere between 3am and 7am, and that's why they are called the wee hours. I assumed that he was referring to that.

Scottish folk and children call it a wee wee, but for different reasons. Scottish children call it a wee wee wee.
