Where to buy freestanding fans bigger than 18 inches?

Featured Replies

18" is the biggest they have at Big C and Tesco.

Back home in the US one of my friends had a massive fan, I would say 24 inches or so. I want something like that, anyone know where to find one?

PS: I'm in Asoke.

In the industrial section of every town I've paid attention to in Thailand, there's a shop selling industrial grade fans and blowers.

The attached is a Google Street view of the one in my neighborhood (On Rama 4 between Queen Sirikit NCC and TESCO/Big C- so pretty close to Asoke)

Nice one! thumbsup.gif

I just bought a Hatari 25 inch at Global in Chiayaphum. Hatari is the most popular brand in Thailand, so I would think you can find it anywhere in the country. Nice price also, for a huge fan of a nicely constructed tripod legs. I think it was 2,568 baht. Very cheap for something so well built.

We just bought the Hatari 22 inch from Thai Watsadu for 2,500 and it's like a typhoon if you put it on anything past number 1. It has a nice circular base as well so looks nice inside the house.

Global House

Thai Watsadu

Would be the first places to look.

Thereafter any independent electrical stores you know of.
