Featured Replies

Hi guys, can anyone give some detail about the multiple entry visa to australia?

Are they granted with every t/v application to oz or not?

How do they work,is it 4 entries in that 12 month periody without having to re apply for another t/v?

Do they need to return to thai after each 3 month period?

Many thanks...

They are granted it seems at the discretion of the embassy...Some get them first time others on the second application. You can tick the 12 month box on the application form but it is still a case of "wait and see"

The visa is good for multiple trips within the 12 month period no re-application necessary, Each trip can be for a maximum of 3 months only. There is no apparant limit on the number of trips that can be made.

They do not have to return to Thailand...merely leave the country and re-enter...so a trip to Bali or NZ will do the trick....(Be aware that Tasmania is still a part of Oz...Just joking guys :o )

How would it be possible for her to re enter oz from n/z or bali without visas from those destinations ?

Thais do not need a visa for Indonesia.

To visit NZ, yes she would need one.

How would it be possible for her to re enter oz from n/z or bali without visas from those destinations ?

She can re-enter Australia on her multiple entry visa but she can't enter New Zealand or Indonesia without a visa.

For her to do a turn-around trip in those countries, she would need to apply for a visa, either whilst in Oz or before she leaves Thailand.

It would probably be a lot easier just to return to Thailand. :o

...........and fair dinkum, who would want to visit Kiwiland anyway. :D

Thais do not need a visa for Indonesia.

I'm not so sure about that. Thailand is not part of the "Visa on Arrival" agreement.

The list of countries that are: United States of America, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, India, Ireland, Kuwait, Luxemburg, Maldives, Egypt, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Spain.

I'm no expert on Indonesia, so I'll allow others to confirm.
