Nok Air flight to Ranong forced by heavy rains to return to Don Mueang
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Heavy downpours and strong winds in Ranong Monday morning prompted Nok Air Flight DD7312 with 47 passengers to return to Don Mueang.

The flight was scheduled to land at the Ranong Airport at 10:54 am but the poor visibility forced the pilot to return to Bangkok after he learned that Surat Thani and Phuket also had heavy rains.

Safety first, if i was on board i would have been happy to fly back !

How was the weather in Chumphon, or is that airport too small for Nok machines? Or maybe Krabi?

As an instructor with a major airline I have to say that the pilot made the absolute correct decision. No one thanks you for getting in but they will surely hang you if you crash. Great work gents!!!!
