President Joe Biden's Historical Legacy is Ruined
Good result for all us us that are not woke idiots. She did a completely rubbish job- she failed to even make it close when she was destroyed in the election. Lost women, lost Blacks, lost Latinos, lost the undecided. Even lost Muslims and Arabs over her support of genocide in Gaza. Couldn't even make it with killing the unborn as a "major" issue, couldn't even make it with the LGB+ silliness or MMCC scam. Completely useless IMO. We were saved from a great catastrophe when Trump won, and he did. He won large, he won huuuuge, he destroyed her. Good job. Hopefully Harris retires to wherever useless loser politicians go, and we never hear from her again. -

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
I don't know what that means, "forgotten them". I think you're either in their system with a TIN or you're not. If you are, then what? Do they look at your record every month/year, do they do some sort of check and if so, for what? IF bank WIT is handed over and you don't reclaim it via return, they don't write and remind you. They also don't follow up and ask why you didn't file, ever it seems. They used to send out paper copies of blank tax forms in advance of the filing season but only for one year. if you didn't file, you didn't get a blank form again....it was more of a courtesy exercise than anything else. -

Indian Tourist Missing After Fall at Koh Samui Waterfall Despite Warnings
An Indian tourist, 29 year old Mr. Sreemany Debjit, has gone missing after slipping and falling while taking photos at a popular waterfall in Koh Samui. The incident occurred amidst heavy rain and strong water currents, which ultimately forced search and rescue teams to suspend operations in the evening due to safety concerns. On November 9, Jirapat Chuchan, Deputy Chief of Koh Samui District, received a report that Mr. Debjit, an Indian national, disappeared after slipping at Na Muang Waterfall 2 in Na Muang, Koh Samui. He was reportedly walking up to the top of the waterfall to capture photos when the accident occurred. Authorities from Koh Samui Tourist Police, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office in Surat Thani, and local rescue teams quickly mobilised. However, persistent rain and strong currents posed significant challenges for the search efforts. According to Mr. Debjit’s friend, they had visited the waterfall despite the continuous rain. As they climbed to the top, locals warned them about the dangers, advising against proceeding. Nevertheless, they continued. At the top, Mr. Debjit was taking photos near the edge when he slipped and disappeared into the powerful current before his friend’s eyes, who quickly sought help. At 18:30 rescue operations were halted due to darkness, worsening weather, and strong currents, which created a high risk for responders. Authorities plan to resume their search on November 10 at 08:00. Meanwhile, Police Lieutenant Thitima Srilamoom, an investigator with the Koh Samui Police, has taken Mr. Debjit’s friend to the station for further questioning. Can I transfer money to my Thai bank account whilst out of the country
Yes, you can make and transfer as much as you want during a non resident year but the money must also be also be 'realised' during a non resident year - often going to be the same year but perhaps not always. This is the approach I'm taking but I'm going the extra mile and will be non resident for a few years going forward as I don't like their approach and will wait for the dust to truly settle on this whole thing before making additional decisions. Now this next bit is just a hunch but you may open yourself up to potential audits if you send very large amounts of money in a non resident year and of course during an audit they can look back many years and I know a lot of us were likely remitting mingled funds over the last 10 years. Of course if you remain non resident then you won't be needing a TIN assuming those you bank with will work without one. -

President Joe Biden's Historical Legacy is Ruined
IMO his biggest success was failing and allowing a better POTUS to take over. The worst thing that could have happened is that he managed to stay on as POTUS or that he managed to get Harris elected. Now, there is a chance that the US and the western world can be saved from an ignominious end mired in never ending war and destruction.
