New Zealand tooth fetish sex offender jailed

WELLINGTON: -- A New Zealand man who yanked women's teeth out with pliers during sex and had a fetish for "fat gummy ladies" was jailed for six years today.

The sentencing judge said that finding an appropriate sentence for Wellington man Philip Lyle Hansen was "bizarre", as he had never come across a case like it.

"The offending had a gratuitous, almost torture-like sense to it," judge Bruce Davidson told a sentencing hearing at Wellington District Court, as Hansen's victims wept in the public gallery.

The 56-year-old was found guilty last month of five counts of assault and one of indecent assault after a six-day trial heard evidence about his sexual habits and obsession with dentistry.

The trial heard Hansen, who has no dental qualifications, was a domineering and controlling personality who preferred his women without teeth.

Geez, it's taken long enough to get to trial...this happened years ago.

I'm beyond words...for him, but also for the women that fell for him. The woman that read a statement in court STAYED with him after the first tooth extraction!!

Why didn't he become a dentist so he can legaly torture people by pulling their teeth ?

Whenever you think you've seen and heard it all...

He should be sent to Thailand and live in the rural areas up north . Plenty of old women who would love to have their rotten teeth pulled out for free and get a root into the bargain !!

Incidentally. he was indentured to a dental practice, but pulled out.

I am an old time believer in justice...an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Hold this axxhole down without medication and do the same he did to his victims. It is time that people are held responsible for their actions, especially when they intentionally hurt another weaker person.
