A balanced view of our fellow posters. Let's constructively show our appreciation of our fellow posters by highlighting what we enjoy about their posts, and their opportunities for improvement. Be specific, and make sure the appraisal is equally balanced - good qualities and opportunities. Perhaps it's best if I give an example -

Pigeonjake: great, positive, down to earth view on farming in Thailand. Would benefit from an editor to tidy up spelling and grammar.

SC so you are a teacher?

We're in Thailand where everybody passes regardless of improvement.

It's a team effort in Asia, everyone's wonderful, faults are glossed over for the sake of harmony and unity.

Long live Thai Visa and the lack of vitriol so prevalent on youtube

PJ, for example, would not be the same identifiable English country lad making a go of it in Thailand on his work breaks if his English was as perfect as Tony Blair's, the war criminal.

Long live our collective prejudices, faults vices and bias so long as it's conducted in civil terms.

My definition of a bad poster (other than myself):

Anyone who used the words 'wifey', 'hubby', or 'good lady'.

Me? I am just a contentious SOB.

StreetCowboy's one liners are good.

But is he as good over ten paragraphs?

Brevity; soul fo wit

- Wilde

You remind me of Steve McQueen.

The Great Escape.

Less is more is a maxim that's invariably true- except when it comes to money.

I can't believe I could get a typo in something as short as "Brevity, Soul of wit"

That was a typo, bytheway, boys, and not a deliberate FO. There'd be no call for language like that.

I like meatboy's posts in the rugby and other sports forum, though he can be a bit staunchly Welsh from time to time. I've not seen him about for a while - I hope he's keeping well

SC, I think it's time for a humble apology in front of Pigeon Jake and his pigs, preferably just before feeding time.

You're right - sorry PJ, and my apologies to the pigs as well. I hope they are well.

That reminds me a of a joke, I'm sure you've heard it before, so I'll not bore you with the whole story, but the punch line was

"Aye, well, a pig like that - you wouldn't want to eat it all at once"
