The no. 4 comes in aircon (yellow) or no air (red) varieties. I think both follow the same route.

In addition there is the aircon 506 (blue) which also goes up Charoenkrung and along Rama IV past Silom MRT.

This is from memory so open to correction.

If you're going to Chinatown take the MRT to Hua Laphong station and avoid the bus altogether. Short walk from there.

The OP is talking about 11.30 p.m. and by that time, most of the Bus lines are not running anymore. It is really just a 70-80 Baht ride on a Cab from Silom (just walk back to Rama IV road and hail down a moving Cab, do not use one waiting along Silom Road - 100% crooks).

If concerned, use the GRABTAXI app and u will even know the driver's name and car-plate before he arrives
