My lady's 5 year old lives lives by Nong Chang. She only gets 1 day off at a time so we plan on doing a 1 day visit. The drive is 8 hours return so hopefully we get 4-5 hours with the girl. Is there a mall or market around Uthai Thani were we can shop and get a decent meal? Tk's folks.

No, you would have to go to Nakhon Sawan.

There is a cracking steak restaurant though. S&W by the clock tower/park.
