Hi,

Anyone know where I can get Homeland (series 4)? And other good TV and movies. I tried B23 or whatever it's called in Central and they don't have it.

I did a search on DVDs in general but there's nothing really recent.

Thanks

Just stream it to your tv ,check out cucirca.eu or http://stream-tv1.net,

they have all series of Homeland on there, also check out American

Odyssey, something along the same lines, better than Homeland i think.

I agree American Odyssey and The Killing are better than Homeland. The Brink(new series) is a hoot Murder in the First(police drama) and Devious Maids(funny) Blue Murder is good. If your into British humor the old old series "Waiting for God" is great all 48 episodes outstanding casting and then there is Doc Martin another great series still in production I think series 6(Also outstanding casting). Then there is my all time favorite Murdoch Mysteries (still in production series 8)Would be nice to have a movie site here or discussion board to trade ideas. I think someone else mentioned that.

Thanks guys, seems P*******y is back in action so all my problems solved.

I will check out American Odyssey but I see it was on NBC so will be toned down for network viewing?

Just checked out American Odyssey on Rotten Tomatoes:

"It was like someone had cut up broadsheet newspapers from recent years and glued bits randomly to the script, making the whole thing lack cohesion. Homeland it certainly isn't". Daily Telegraph

"If there were a gap in the market for a spy/military/terrorism saga, they could have at least tried... something original, rather than this pick-and-mix of lazy old tropes strung together by a script so thin it would blow away with a camel's sneeze". Guardian

"The problem is, there are three tales embedded in its framework, which includes familiar elements - the tension of 24 and the intrigue of Homeland - that add up to something less than the sum of its parts". Boston Globe

"American Odyssey wants to be scary and big and so deep and horrible in the realm of conspiracies... In the process, it drops an anvil on viewers' heads. And then it becomes ridiculous. And then, well, there are so many other things to watch". Hollywood Reporter

Don't think I'll bother but thanks anyway!

I gave you lots of other options check em out. Critics like economists are a dime a dozen. Its all in the eye of the beholder. AO is still in production and would not be if people did not like it. Its an enduring show. Different strokes for different folks we are all uniquely different. As Roy Rogers used to say at the end of his shows "Happy Trail To You" If your big on DVD's I know a guy that is pruning his collection of over 2,000 to 3,000. He has some real oldies. If interested PM me.
