I received a cheque from a sale transaction dated on the 25th July 2558. As it was a Saturday, I could only

bank it on a Monday which is on the 27th of July. My saving account bank is in Lamphun and my cheque

is from Phrae. I wonder how many days does it need for the bank to clear it. Any information is much

appreciated. Thank you.

My experience: I have my bank in Chiangmai and had cheques from a company that use a bank in Bangkok.

Usually they tell me about 10 business days to clear the check but every time it is faster.

- if deposited before 2:00 p.m., 2 business days, if deposited after 2:00 p.m., 3 business days.

-your money should be posted to your account and available at 1:00 p.m. on the date in question.

On a presumption that you are in a hurry for the money, check to see if I am right, then come back here and tell us.

It might take a few days longer since it's inter province and Thailand operates a provincial banking system.
