Dettol is good and I remember mum using it in areas that she wanted to be ultra clean. But its damn expensive here. Great product at a price

Agreed light Dettol solution (maybe 1:10 with water) or making your own light bleach or rubbing alcohol solution or heavy white vinegar and a 10 baht spray bottle from the market. Add a few drops of teatree oil or citronella oil for extra germ killing properties and a nice smell. I have found Dettol (and most other cleaning products) much cheaper in the largish shop directly opposite the Chinese temple in China Town - I don't know the name but it also sells haberdashery). Not such a massive selection, but often a good 10% or more cheaper.

I usually bring some anti-bac kitchen/bathroom wipes with me from 'back home'. I'm not over the top with anti-bac products as good old soap and water is good enough for 95% of the time and I believe we need to have some exposure to germs or we could possibly lose resistance to them (?), but they does have their uses in food preparation areas, especially if you're in a hurry. I noticed this year the supermarkets back home were full of (new, to me) anti-bac products from washing up liquid to fabric softener and everything in between (including floor cleaner, which amazed me).

Be the change that you wish to see in the world.

Just a heads up: You will want to use a bit of caution with the bleach solution around metal items on your kitchen counter top. I don't learn too fast, and found that spraying regularly on or near the microwave or the metal parts of the stovetop causes some rust to develop. If this is done continuously over an extended period of time, the rust area grows and looks really unappealing. Be sure to follow up with clear water to remove the bleach solution from metal.

Yes and that Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner is mighty powerful stuff too. It will discolour chrome and stainless steel very quickly, and if you have any cuts you will know very quickly know where they are should the cleaner get into them. I think the active ingredient is Lactic Acid and Sodium Hydroxide, whatever it is it works (And stings like hell)
