Most modern desktops and laptops can drive at least two screens as standard.

Add a second video card or USB video adaptor(s) and the sky's the limit.

Currently running 3 monitors on my home desktop and my work laptop.

Once you've run a multi-monitor setup you'll never want to go back to just one :)

The gist to the OP's request seems to be ".... and view separate pages from one website at the same time ?"

To that the answer is no, not with one computer.

???

Open in New Window, and moving the Window to a different monitor doesn't work for you?

What browser are YOU using that doesn't let you do this?

I open a set of TV pages at the same time.

I just dragged one to my second monitor.

Now I can see two pages from one website.

It's not exactly the dark arts.

To make new pages default to different monitors when pressing CTRL-N for example sometimes I'll use Firefox on one Monitor and Chrome on one of the others that way I don't have to drag anything around, ever.

you sure can.

of course, the trick to this is to run software..such as Autoit. Each page of a website has it's own address.

You would load each page to a separate screen.

Actually kind of simple...use INETGET command in AutoIt, run a sepate program that receives commands to open a web browser...with that page...to each screen..consecutively...

one page per monitor...3 pages...3 web browsers...3 monitors.

takes minimum programming skills.

Alternatively...a macro program can load one page at a time, screenshot that page, and send a snapshot of each page to a separate monitor.....sort of like (3 pages/3 monitors)...sending wallpaper to each monitor...left, middle, and right.

....or do it manually with multiple instances of firefox...

http://www.callum-macdonald.com/about/faq/multiple-firefox-instances/

run 3 instances of firefox. load website on each. Manually forward to the second page on the second firefox...third on the third firefox. Then slide each to it's own monitor

more trouble than it is probably worth...however.

Firefox as well as Chrome can be started with multiple independent windows.

Multple instances. No problem.

of course (see my post above how to run multiple instances and move each to it's own screen. Use a macro program to automate.

It is what we call...thinking out of the box. Most people don't experiment...I have done alot of experimenting..and write macros/programs with a free software called AutoIt

@OP: how many monitors you can run depends on your system. As others have noted, there's no real technical limit, but there will be hardware limits - which vary by system.

If it's a desktop PC and it has a few slots free, adding more video cards to drive more monitors won't be a problem. If it's a notebook though, that's a different story.

Another option here is to buy yourself a 21:9 ultra-wide monitor, which can display two normal sized browser windows side by side, with some screen real estate still left over:

I have the curved one, and love it.

Here's a guy running 3 of them, LOL:

how do you get the mouse from one screen to the next? does it just leave the right side of one screen, and join the left side of the other screen?

I think you could if you downloaded all the docs then you could open them in separate Tabs in which case I think you could either view on one screen or probably slide to a multi screen setup depending on the program you opened them with.

Yes, you need to set up as "Extend Desktop" in the display resolution dialogue.

You can move the displays around on the screen so they are in the same order as your real ones (use the "Identify" button).

This is what the actual thing looks like.

U don't need 2 monitors, u can show both,or three, or how ever many, on one monitor. On chrome just open a new tab with the 2nd page. Drag the tab to far left or right, it will open in a new window. Size yr windows however.

Sorry not correct. Even windows can do it.

Just use IE, Crome, Firefox etc each one can display a different page from the same website in different windows using one computer.

Certainly on Windows 8.1 on my lappy, it's comfortable with the monitor and an external USB monitor plugged in.

But when I plugged another monitor into the HDMI, it would last for a few seconds then get its tits in a wringer.

Haven't tried that on Windows 10 yet, will do it next week.

The answer is yes.

You need to setup your computer correctly to begin otherwise you will have a lot of trouble .Ensure every part is compatable

You get what you pay for. so get the proper stuff to begin its cheaper in the long run

I run multiple screens and can view many google search pages at the same time if i want too.
