Traffic closure to take place for Green Line train construction

BANGKOK, 22 August 2015 (NNT) – The MRTA says the Kaset Intersection Flyover will be closed to traffic from 29 August 2015, to accommodate the construction of the northern Green Line train extension.

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority (MRTA) has reported that the construction process of the railway extensions to the Mo Chit - Saphan Mai - Khu Kot Green Line train extension is scheduled begin by 10pm of 29 August 2015, under the first contract with Italian-Thai Development PLC.

The construction will suspend all traffic on the Kaset Intersection Flyover until constructions are complete.

The MRTA has announced that the public are to refrain from using this road as the closure of the traffic here will already affect motorists in this area.
