Chinese consulate in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am travelling to China within the next six months and as a Canadian citizen I need a visa. I have all of my paperwork in order except the time to come to CM to start the process. Is there an TRUSTWORTHY agency in CM that will do that in my stead?

If you ask Google earth it will show you exactly where it is. Down opposite the north moat.

Why not call the consulate and ask them if they can recommend anyone?

That is a good idea Thailand. Masuk, I am not sure what you mean. I did not ask where the consulate is, just where I can find an agency that can do this for me. I know google can show me where agencies are but I do not want to go to just about any random one...

Sorry. I misunderstood.

I've applied for visas there a few times and no problems.

I would also think any reputable travel agent could do it for you.

I should have specified that I live in Chiang Rai and coming to CM to apply for the visa is a hassle because I cannot leave work. Ok, I will start by making a phone call to the consulate and take it from there

I have obtained Chinese Visa at the Consulate in Chiang Mai, the process is very simple and quick

If I recall it takes around 3days

Print of the form from their website and go or have so-one go to the Consulate

The Consulate want flight tickets and accommodation confirmation
