This came across my feed recently. It is apparently a new Traffic Light/Camera designed to cut down on speeders and people who jump the lights (or plain just don't even bother stopping for them).

While it is anticipated that this will cut down on the number of infractions no one has been able to figure out how to avoid the inevitable traffic delays that will occur while the intersections are being cleared.

From the picture it appears to be a fully automatic machine gun coming out of the bottom.

Yes they are issuing tickets / letters in Issan, I don't know what the response % is.......but times, they are a changing .......................
