BMA holds a diorama-building contest for better Bangkok

BANGKOK, 13 September 2015 (NNT) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) recently held a diorama-building contest among high schools to instigate students’ interest in designing a better Bangkok.

According to the organizer, the contest’s theme was “building a better Bangkok”. The event was held at Children's Discovery Museum in Bangkok.

The BMA said the objectives of the contest were to educate students about city planning, urging them to take part in city planning, while exercising creative mind.

The participating students were asked to make sure their designs conform to the theme and are practical in the real world.

The winner was Prachaniwet School; the first and second runners-up are Wat Phaiton School and Wat Lanboon School respectively.
