Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe reads the wrong speech while opening parliament

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe reads wrong speech

HARARE: -- Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has read out the wrong speech at the opening of parliament.

He gave the same one during his state-of-the-nation address on 25 August, when he was heckled by opposition MPs.
His spokesman told the state-run Herald paper the error was because of a mix-up in the president's secretarial office.

The BBC's Brian Hungwe in Harare says tensions were high ahead of the speech and the state broadcaster cancelled its live feed fearing further disruptions.

At least six MPs from the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) received a text message from a sender called "Death" warning them to behave.

Reading the article I thought Mugabe started to read the zeros on the Zimbabwe Dollar, that would have taken his

some time to accomplish....

His senility is getting worse.

Shouldn't be long now.....

Hope its sooner than later

Zim is a perfect example of how to take a once functioning country and revert the contry back to the stone age

Cant see how mixed speeches would make any difference anyway, his speeches only ever comprise of blaming colonialism for all his failings as President

Somebodies head is going to roll.

Senility or too much ear medicine? coffee1.gif

Funeral announcements forthcoming.

What do you expect?

He's not a functioning head of state in the strictest sense of the word.

So he doesn't know what he is talking about

I think he always knew what he was talking about once he gained power and that was keeping power and everyone else except for his cronies down, right down.

From what I've read and heard from people that fled his reign of terror, Uncle Bob is the (unfortunately) living proof that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It is hard to imagine that the sodomising Banana Uncle Bob replaced could have done a worse job.

Monkey see, monkey do... A Thailand Soi dog has more IQ and common sense than this fool and his whole government together

The man who turned the bread basket of East Africa into a basket case and had the cheek to blame others.

This man ranks right up there with Fat Kim, Fidel and Raul Castro, Hun Sen, Than Shwe, and a few others, who have decimated their nations, oppressed their people to no end, and generally wreaked havoc and destruction in their wake. Men who have no right to live. Men who have hearts the size of a peanut. Men who do not deserve the oxygen they freely consume.

Probably quite literally.

Orrible, evil old man

Hopefully it`s just a matter of time before this evil, paranoid old brute is laid to rest.
