Rawai Cable in Nai Harn

My cable is not working in Nai Harn.

Am I alone or is an outage more widespread?

Called the office. 5 minutes later the cable started working.

Does anybody have their contact numbers? I tried their landlines, of course NO answer and also 2 mobile numbers, 1 is NO answer and the other seems to be disconnected.

Have no signal since 8.45am this morning at the location after the beach road towards the cape.

Office is usually closed on a Sunday.

I'm with Karon Cable and our signal died about 08.50 this morning. Still off and I can't contact Karon Cable. Must be a Phuket Cable central fault.

I use it for business and im pretty sure we pay 350Baht a month for 6 sets. If it goes out i storm to their office and tell how Im a big business owner with 6 tv's. Everybody Wai's (especially towards me) and then demand 350thb credit.

What channels do they have these days? I used to have them years ago, changed to KPP as they had internet too. Now they don't, so back to 3BB. Is Rawai Cable worth getting anymore? Or is there something better. It seems like many are getting everything off the internet now...

I have it as a backup in case my Truevisions goes out, and for the additional news channels.

Same as jetset i use it mainly for news BBC, bloomberg, Asia and Fox, also 2 movie channels when they both work, we have truevision also for better program selection

True stops working in thunderstorms , cable does not

I like the movies on Lotus Macau. They often show the first three Bourne movies, one after the other with hardly a break in between them - definitely a pop-corn and soda night (or crisps and Leo).  

 

The new list says Sky news, but I can't see it after I retuned the TV. I'll be paying them a visit tomorrow because the girl says she has it in the office. In fact, the numbers on the list they gave me bear little relation to the actual channels I am now getting!

Not the same as the channels we receive either 28 to31 for news with us not 37/40

I will leave the channels the way they are as i know them from memory

Yes, whatever you do, don't retune your TV! I regret it now. I used to have all the news channels grouped at around 95-99, the sports around 85-90, and films around 70-80. They were copies of the actual channels from further down. They all disappeared after I retuned the TV so now I have to set them up again! B*ggerations!

The question about Sky News and the channels has been answered - and it's not good news. When the girl in the office said that they had Sky News, she meant Blue Sky News (Ch 36) which is Thai. They don't have Sky from the UK.

 

I now have the correct channel list, which matched what my TV found after I retuned it:

Its better than nothing but if they had a more expensive package with a better selection of channels to watch, like documentaries etc i would buy it and quit using true visions which seems to be going downhill with their selection of programs, some of their new movie channels show films that are almost as old as me, that means they are ancient

I did mention it at their office a couple of times when they lost the digital service but they showed no interest except to offer me a more expensive package with more soccer channels (called football by some people) which i did not want

No competition if there was they would change their attitude quickly

They have good thai dramas/soapies the wife tells me

Just turned on the TV(10.30 am) and all the english language news channels have disappeared and been replaced with Thai channels and movie channels are now 8 and 9

Plenty of blank channels maybe they are reprogramming, i hope so

Thanks for the replies and the channel lists. My wife went by today and they first said they couldn't come and hook me up until Monday or Tuesday. Then they looked up my old account and said, I know him, we'll try to send someone soon. We'll see...
