Need to have a photo copied onto some shirts.

Featured Replies

As above, i'm looking for a business that will take an existing photo and print/apply it to some shirts.

Info appreciated from anyone with first hand knowledge of such a business .

I don't want to post this on the board as I am very uncertain of it now. Three years ago there was a fellow in the basement of the night bazaar building selling t shirts. a friend of mine took him some thing he wanted silk screened on to shirts and he did good job of it. I am very uncertain now as I have not been around there for quite a while. Might be of use to you. If so let us know.

Thanks, tho' i'm not sure that you can screenprint an actual photo.

Maybe ask at one of the sign shops. I know they use photos for wedding posters and other advertising. If they don't do it they could point you in the right direction.

I don't know for sure but the other week around 20.00 there was a Thai guy selling 'Tee' shirts with photos of people's faces on them.

Location was down the street from Thai Pea Gate on INSIDE of moat past the large Honda motorcycle dealer.

Only saw him on one night from a passing Songtaw, after I had been out for dinner.

deleted: didn't notice this was Chiang Mai not Bangkok!!

Thanks, i'll go have a look/ask around that area.

I had half a dozen shirts printed up by a shop that 'was' inside Panthip Plaza. I gave them a thumb drive with the photos on them, and they 'had them done' somewhere else. This shop has since closed, but it was the sort of printing shop that makes those big sheets of vinyl stickers and large display posters for companies and businesses. I've seen quite a few of these same machines on the major streets around Chiang Mai, and if it were me needing more shirts printed, my first stop would be one of these sorts of shops. Obviously they can't print them on the same machines, but my guess is that they will know where you can.
