Hiya...

sorry if this one`s been asked before, but...

Right i want to use a graphic from a page here... lemme be more specific:

I want to use the graphic that is the "manage ignored users" box on that page, so that I can make a post using that box as a pic withing the post.

How do I get that, without having html/full web as the saved file?

I tried saving the page, but then I can not open it with paint to just cut out the graphic..

That make any sense?

There is another way to do it. Follow these instructions

1. Press prtscn button on your keyboard

2. Open your paint program which is listed under start>Accessories>Paint

3. Then goto Edit> Paste

4. You then have your screenshot captured for you to edit how you like

Hope this helps you out matey :o

cheers daley.

Only prob in this particular PC location (a cafe) , is they`ve got it hooked up to printdirectly if I hit prtscreen, in which case they slap me with a charge that outways rationality... Printing costs shitloads out here...

In 48 hours however.... New place! :o

I`ll bear it in mind, and jesus and all them gods willing, I`ll be able to afford a new lap top within the next few months.

Then I`m REALLy gonna rock out on here... :D .

Hi Kayo,

>>> if I hit prtscreen, in which case they slap me with a charge that outways rationality

>>> Printing costs shitloads out here...

Where is "here" and what is the Baht exchange rate for your local "shitloads"?

To save your local "shitloads", try using Alt-PrintScreen. This saves your screen to your keyboard buffer. You can then:

1. right click on your desktop or somewhere convenient

2. select 'Create New BitMap'

3. right click the new bit map and select 'Edit'

4. After Window's Paint Program has opened, press Ctrl-V to paste the image from your buffer

5. Select 'Save As' and then select jpg (because it is compressed)

and just to labour the point - here is one I created previously :o
