Because many "working class Thais" that work in the office, for example, have traveled overseas.

The ones in the villages that live in Lao khao and cant afford to eat several months a year would probably be" working class Thais "

The ones that work as few months a year and do nothing for the rest etc

I think government positions are not "average Thais" lol

Of course a few work in aircon offices and Wear shiny shoes, but I wouldn't think that's the majority
