BARCELONA: -- The sister of the Spanish king is to appear in court in January on tax fraud charges.

The investigation into Cristina de Borbon is part of a wider inquiry into her handball-player husband’s charity.

He has been charged with fraud and tax evasion following a lengthy investigation.

Both deny any wrongdoing.

Surly That can't be bode well to the royal family to be linked to an alleged tax cheat....

Still, at least they are not above investigation........
