I have an appointment on Friday at the UK visa application centre in the trendy office building in bangkok.

I'm a British national born before 1982

Misses is a Thai national born after 1982.

My son was born here in Thailand.

What documents will I need to take with me apart from the application form?

Cheers

Went there in August, I now have my two's passports, this is what I took:

Applicants(child) house registration, copy and translation

2 photos

Fathers passport, all pages copied in colour

Fathers long birth certificate

Applicants birth certificate, copy and translation

Mothers birth certificate, copy and translation

Mothers identity card, colour copy

They asked if I had a translated mothers Identity card, I did not and I am not married or live in Thailand so the mother signed the application. About a week later, I was sent an email asking for a copy of the countersignature's passport, I sent this and the passport returned a week later, so this might be handy, however they asked for nothing for my other childs passport and this took about a month.

Yeah, pretty much what was asked for.

I didn't have the wifes birth certificate so had to write a cover note. I did give them a colour copy and translation of her ID card.

Everything must be in colour, house book and your birth certificate. There is a place in the building you can copy and translate if needed.
