My son recently expressed an interests in ants. Like, what do they do?, Where do they live etc.

So, I came up with the idea of building an ant farm for him.

Im sure I could build one for him and have done a little research but Im wondering if, by chance, knew if anywhere in Bangkok sells the products needed.

Sort of a home made kit.

Failing that, does anyone know how to get a Queen ant?

I would love to do this , not just for the boy, but also for me.

Can't say I've ever tried it, but I think a double pane window would make a perfect ant farm.

We didn't have double pane windows when I was a kid, so I was stuck with a commercial (piece of plastic crap) ant farm that I got for Christmas.

Still it was fascinating...

Ants? Weeeell, you can come and collect as many of the ruddy things as you can carry. Actually, you must remove all of our ants

They are selling these ant kits on Amazon ...works great and they eat up this gel inside and form tunnels fascinating for kids to watch and almost zero maintenance
