Looking for an English speaking criminal defense lawyer

Featured Replies

As the post states I am looking for a lawyer to take on a criminal case coming up in mid December in Samui.

Preferably speaks English as using a translator can be a pain in the ass.

Must be comfortable and trained to take on a criminal cases as well as civil cases.

Lawyer can be from Samui, Surat, Bangkok, pretty much anywhere.

Thanks a lot.

Might help if you said "where" for localised input/info

Case is in Samui, but the lawyer can be from Surat, Bangkok, wherever.

They don't come more reputable than Tilleke and Gibbins in Bangkok.

What the charge? You might need a specialist in a particular field.

Hey madhav

There will be lots of criminal defense that can agree to take your case but have you decided the budget, i.e. how much you are willing to pay them.

As you said you prefer lawyer from any location then i my view it will turn out to be an expensive solution.

I prefer you to look for a lawyer in local listings.

Probably best to get a local lawyer who is well connected with the judges, police etc. That’s the best way to get the appropriate verdict rather than waiting for the judges to reach one.

Bringing in a big firm from BKK for a local criminal case is unlikely to do anything other than create friction.
