Good time to visit Lanta?

Featured Replies

Hi there, my family will come to visit me, was thinking to bring them to koh lanta from about 10 to 20 november. It's still raining a lot or can be already enjoyable there?

I mean don't care about some showers here and there but stay closed in the resort all the time is not the ideal holiday on seaplace

Many thanks for any hint

In my experience at that time of year the weather is mostly fine with a shower mid afternoon...perfect weather really!

Are you in lanta now? Or at least in krabi? I know the weather should be decent by November but every year can be slightly different

It can be different all over the island! Heavy rain overnight the past few nights.. Light sprinkles occasionally during the days- but generally very nice weather :)

whats it like in early may out of interest as its low season then

It varies... Last year there were still a few tourists around, but the season started much later than usual.. Normally May is very quiet, mid-May a lot of businesses close up for a few months holiday as there is very little business to be had... Although we are seeing an increasing number of Chinese tourists each low season.
