BANGKOK: -- A tiger meat trade gang was busted with a dead female tiger in their car as they were en route to deliver the meat to Bangkok restaurants.

Tak province military and police officers arrested two Thai men Nipon Suksombot, 42, and Leuthai Diewchareon, 55, after they stopped their vehicle at a road checkpoint and found a dead tiger stuffed in a cooler box.

The female tiger approximately weighed 200 kilograms. Gunshot wounds were found all over her body, suggesting she was tragically shot several times before she died.

Delivering the meat to Bangkok restaurants... who were waiting for their <deleted> tiger meat? Who had customers waiting - for their order of tiger meat?

Shoot the whole lot of them, the sick bastards. Loads of money but no breeding or class, is the problem.

Asia is full of wannabe sociopaths and their retard offspring, who got their hands on fortunes very dubiously...

Its a great pity they could not have caught these poachers before they killed the Tiger,

but its the same with deforestation, the catch the loggers with truck loads of wood.BUT

what about the restaurant that was going to buy the tiger, did they even go to check it

out,as sure they would have had some endangered DEAD animals there.bloody

Chinese they are going to eat everything.Shark fin soup, followed by stir fry Tiger.

I hear that the meat of properly skinned poachers tastes better than tiger meat, makes you grow taller, lighter skinned and richer, and puts extra lead in even the oldest and limpest of pencils...

Not really true, but maybe if we spread the rumor all over the interweb...

Just how many low life reside in Thailand , to actually kill a beautiful animal like the Tiger and then head off to sell it as meat at a restaurant , beggars belief , these people should be flogged till they are red raw just like the tiger meat , the land of Smiles , what a load of crap...................bah.gif

Where are the restaurants names that have tiger meat on the menu?

Why do they always leave out the important parts of a story...

The owners should also get whatever punishment is given to the ones that shot the tiger.... But I guess they're too high up the food chain to be named and shamed...

Cow, chicken, tiger.

Same same.

Yes, but cow, chicken aren't endangered, so not really same same.

And cow and chicken won't eat you.

Never tasted cat, or at least don't know I did. Never heard anyone referring to big cats as delicacy, so it's probably just some Chinese who can't get a hard on and never heard about viagra, instead of folks looking for that special dinner.

Your racism is disgusting worst than the people you accuse of.

Do you have breeding or class? bah.gif

unfortunately some asians have a habit of eating protected species in their bullsh*t belief that it will give them a bigger/harder d**k or make them more manly. Maybe the law should start locking up anyone caught eating or using protected animal parts etc for a few years, anyone caught serving it up should be put away for life as should those that kill/supply it. I see nothing wrong with hunting to put food(legal) on the table but anyone doing it to get their jollies etc need to be stopped then again maybe they should set those that are caught doing it free(no weapons) into a jungle with a few of the hunted animals returning the favour and hunting them

I think many Asians eat rare and endangered animals as a show of prosperity its all about status rather than a belief in magical healing or potency properties. Just like the Chinese police officers eating an endangered giant salamander ($804). They want to be seen eating those expensive items. If shark fins soup cost the same as noodle soup no one would eat it. Same as owning Ivory or i-Phones its high price creates demand at least elephants aren't being killed for a technologically out of date phone.

So the 'Whities' that decimate(d) all the Lions, Tigers, Elephants, Rhinos etc in Africa and Asia just for the trophies are soooo different because they didn't (don't) sell the meat?

So why does a Tiger have more of a right to life than a pig, sheep or cow? which you no doubt scoff down at regular intervals in restaurants. If the Tiger was not endangered then it would be ok, it's all about them being rare is it and not the morality of killing animals to eat them

Is this really part of the discussion -- nah! it's not - but seeing as how you are side-tracking the discussion - no they are worse as it is just an ego tripping - and they should be suffering the same fate as the animals.

Not side-tracking, just trying to show that 'Whities' committed much worse atrocities to many species. Only in the last 20-30 years we started preserving the environment, before 'we' slaughtered most animals without concern, all over the world.

Of course I find it disgusting that this is still going on.wai2.gif

The racist gang has lost all control here.

Have a look here and see the proud trophy hunter >>> http://www.theguardian.com/environment/cecil-the-lion

(just one recent incident)

No racist dare open their mouth on this type actions that are happening rampantly - NOT by poor Asians, but by the very rich elite of the West.

They kill for 'sport' - that is justified! Whale hunting. Killing of fox etc etc

The disgusting things the Rich, the powerful & the developed people do are all justified in some way.

If humans cant treat their own kind fairly, how can they treat animals well?

Some so called 'animal lovers' and human rights activists are a perfect example of the hypocrisy that exists in this world today - and they definitely are not from Asia.

The story people are talking about here is one that happened in Asia, here in Thailand. This is a forum for talking about Thailand. That's why people are talking about this story here. Understand?

Nobody said it's ok when non-Asians do it. Nobody said all Asians do it either.

You are comparing historical events, mostly, with this story and stuff that happens now in Asia. Nobody can deny that there is a problem with poaching endangered animals in Asia for silly reasons such as making virility potions.

No offense intended, but you seem to be trying to say that two wrongs make a right to try to get the spotlight off of this problem here in Asia. You want to call other people who care about animals racist, but you are the one using race as a basis in trying to make people not criticize certain Asians who are doing wrong in this case. Think about the innocent animals instead of trying to protect the perpetrators because you favor Asians above other races... because that's what the rest of the posters are doing...

Let me make a guess: the 'restaurant' owner(s) catering for these (I assume) sick Chinese ba...rds will never get caught, though it shouldn't take even the local Sherlocks more than 48 hours to locate them... Too 'connected', or 'influential', like their customers, maybe?

Where did the tiger come from? Where was it shot?

Who is doing the tiger meat business? In what restaurants?

Who are the owners of said restaurants ?

Greed and ignorance is just getting out of hand .............

They don't ask those kind of questions or get the Answers for Murders of Humans. I doubt the Tigers community will say much, Not grasses, Tiger eaters on the other hand ...?. I wonder if the Kitchens are paying a tasty price in BKK to satisfy their disgusting habit of eating rare animals. I may open a Kebab shop selling Panda meat "Wraps"as retaliation

ahh an apologist for the indefensible. Here its massive business youll learn if you live in Asia long enough there is a huge difference in the demand for consuming unusual and or rare animals compared to anywhere else in the world including Africa .The rarer the better and using it in herbal medicines

From the Ivory of teeth to the meat to the ground up bone and fur, the market is by far and away driven by Asian demand. Its just a fact so deal with it.

That isnt to say there is demand elsewhere or for other reasons but its far more common and widespread in Asia than anywhere else. they peddle everything here both live or dead and your a fool to confuse racism with world wide socially unacceptable eating habits.

PS your foxes arnt endangered and have only a few hundred breeding pairs worldwide, thats the difference, i guess you could cite Thailands tiger breeding programme which is a total sham and used to extort money out of tourists ... im sure youd love the tiger temple, right up your street.....rolleyes.gif
