No water buses to Pattaya.:o

Oh yea, do any of the ferries or boats go there?

Buy a bus ticket to Bangkok in Samui (Nathon I think) then buy a seperate ticket at Ekamai station for Pattaya, works out cheaper than buying joint tickets.

Bus to Bangkok then head for the Ekamai bus terminal, Ekamai is the main terminal for the eastern provinces including Pattya. It is located at the Ekamai section of Sukhumvit Road. Ther are buses to Pattaya every 40mins or even less all through the day.

No scheduled boats Im afraid, but you could charter charter one

The best place to buy a bus ticket to Pattaya is to visit www.bangkokair.com and make a reservation on the air'bus' to Pattaya.

A little bit more expensive then going on the 'normal' bus - but a LOT more comfortable. :o

Have a nice trip !

I think its more of a cruise ship type experience than transportation, but not sure. It might be that big cruise ship that you see go through the channel to Samui every once in a while.

That said, mosquitoman, I think your info was still the most appropriate but OP may find that a one way flight isn't that much more expensive than the bus.
