Local company to do pebble dashing

Featured Replies

I'm after a recommendation for a company or builder who can do some of that pebble dashing like you find around sensibly done swimming pools. I need about 25sqm doing on my roof terrace.

Has anyone had this done in the last year or two?

Thats not pebble dashing .Has another name which i forget.Pebble dashing goes on Walls .Horrible stuff ,to paint later or get off when you want .

It's called "sai" (sand) something definitely not pebble dash which I on rented the gadget to spatter it on in UK (not true pebble dash but very common

Do you mean the non-slip cement skim where they apply the cement layer containing the grit, then brush away the top layer of cement to reveal the grit. You can get it in various colours, costs about 300 baht/sq meter.

I did think it was sand wash, but went with pebble dash as it didn't make much sense when I thought more about it.

But, yes. Sandwash. Any recommendations?

Great stuff. So much fun power washing and scrubbing to keep the mold off of it and keep it clean.

Better than breaking your neck slipping on ceramic tiles.

non slip tiles ?

It's in my memory somewhere but won't come out:

Sand wash in Thai = ?

Sand Wash is tough to keep clean and soon loses its looks especially if it's open to the elements. Furthermore, its really prone to cracking and nigh on impossible to repair invisibly - investigate all other options before going down this route which everyone I've ever known regrets sooner or later. Usually sooner!

Home Sukapan has some excellent really non-slip bathroom tiles (if it's the non-slip property you're after) although they are only in 30 x 30cm size.

I have a contact for you. My step-son used them, about 300 baht/sq. meter in various colours. They can mix colours and make patterns for you
