walk-in hotels in mae rim

Can anyone recommend some walk-in hotels in Mae Rim which, say, are below B1,500? Gonna spend just a few hours for one night. Cleaniless is all I need.

How is the food there compared to Mae Rim Plaza places?

It's OK at the 1st Residence for food. In fact their accommodation is good too. If you are looking for a change from Steak of the Day or Simon place a bit further along, it's a good change of both scenery and food.

It's a well set up place which seems to be growing in size with a coffee shop out on the main road now.
