I've been planning for a while to replace my bloated Windows 7 with a nice, new clean one; well now is the time as the holidays are approaching.

It's been a while so I don't want to make a cringing brain fart that will leave me with an expensive brick. Therefore I've made the following check-list:

Create Bootable USB Sticks for New Install (2 sticks, 1 for sure)

Instructions to create above here (good reviews):

Install Windows 7 From USB

Hard Copy of Serial no.(s)

Backup:

Drivers (esp. LAN) - to USB

Chrome Favourites

Google Drive folder

My Music

My Documents

My Pictures (empty)

Desktop (Create Folder)

Game Saves

Create Data Partition this time (doh!). Windows / Data Partition 200 GB / 500 GB ratio

Have I missed anything blindingly obvious? :smiling Probably...
