Went to Pattaya DLT, next to Regents school yesterday for a vehicle passport for my pickup, one form to fill in and the blue book and a copy of the wife's id card, paid 280 baht and have to go back next Wednesday to collect. ,

Yeppers my experience also. When I got mine I thought it was necessary for all out of country travel. It is not!

I think my 250 included a blue book translation into English for the Malaysian border......whatever, it's one of the last bits of Thai bureaucracy that is reasonably priced........I'm sure as more and more people start driving abroad, they.ll hoike the price up
