It's in mukdahan. I used to pass by it often when I was in the nongsung district. It's either in kam cha ii or nongsung. Just ask the locals.

Mukdahan is beautiful this time of year.

Thanks for the replies. Found it using the wife's Facebook. Came up with some other brand map, but opened GMaps and the roads are similar. There is a school very near the turnoff, and I am sure a sign, in Thai, for my better half to look out for. Heading to Laos 22 Jan so will see it in a day or two from departure.
