I Need A New House. Any Ideas?

Im looking to move into a new house.

I currently live in a nice but overpriced 1 bedroom in Maenam/Bophut. Its in a nice area and has lots of space but the rent is higher then most 1 bedrooms and I get double charged for electricity.

About 2 weeks ago I found an amazing house on the soi across from 7/11 in mai nam. It was a fenced in area with like 6-7 nice 1 bedroom houses and a shared pool. Rent was 8,000 baht and a house would be available in 2 weeks! jackpot! But now 2 weeks later Im told the house is no longer available.

Im looking for something similar. A nice modern 1 bedroom (not thai style) for around 8,000 baht.

Does anybody know if anything thats available in this area?

Anybody know of a good place?

Also, can I get my phone line moved to my new house? And if so does that mean they are goign to charge me 4000 baht again and take 2 weeks?

Such a hassle...
