Eviction
actually. He should have #1 insurance on his car that would pay to have it fixed. I do not suggest you give him 1 baht. Instead file a claim with your insurance. Let them manage it especially since your lessor seems to have already chosen to evict you. I also suggest you read through your rental agreement to find the clause that gives him the right to evict you for this cause. Although, he can make any excuse he wants to if he really wants to evict you. You can fight it but it will be costly and require expertise with a lawyer. -

14-Year-Old Girl Killed in Collision with 6-Wheel Truck in Lopburi
A 14-year-old schoolgirl lost her life after being struck by a six-wheel truck while riding her motorcycle in Lopburi on November 25. At approximately 17:30 the Lopburi Police Station received reports of a fatal accident on Highway 3017, between Lopburi and Wang Muang, near the Khao Tumn intersection. Police and rescue workers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found a white Honda Zoomer X motorcycle overturned in the far-left lane of the road. About 10 metres away, a six-wheel Isuzu truck with the license plate from Lopburi was stopped at the roadside. Beneath the truck, near the rear right wheel, was the body of a young girl, later identified as Chanantida Riewwongsak (nicknamed “Nong Great”), a 14-year-old student from the nearby Nikom Sangkathon District. The victim was wearing a school sports uniform when she was found trapped under the truck. Relatives who arrived at the scene were devastated, with the girl’s grandmother, 64-year-old Chaluai, collapsing in shock and having to be treated by emergency responders. She explained that the girl had left home to buy snacks at a convenience store and was only gone for about five minutes before the tragic news came. The truck driver, 33-year-old Rungroj Sirong, remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. He explained that he had been transporting rice from the Phatthana Nikhom District to Ban Mi District when the crash occurred. As he was driving through a curve, the victim emerged from a side street, failing to notice his oncoming vehicle. The truck struck her motorcycle and dragged her for over 10 metres before stopping. The driver was taken into police custody for further investigation, while the victim’s body was sent to Phra Narai Maharaj Hospital for an autopsy. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident. Picture from responders. -- 2024-11-27 -
