Airports of Thailand said the rise reflects continued upgrades in service, technology, cleanliness, safety and operational speed. Suvarnabhumi also placed fourth among airports handling 60 to 70 million passengers annually, marking another strong result for the hub. Don Mueang also improved, moving from eighth to seventh in the ranking for low-cost airline terminals. Thai airport authorities hailed the results as evidence that service improvements are starting to translate into stronger global recognition.
