Water Proof Material / Duffle Bag / Seamstress

Featured Replies

Hey All,

Looking for a few things:

1.) Store that sells water proof duffle bags (see pic)

2.) Shop that sells the a durable water proof material or similar

3.) Shop/Seamstress(or Seams Person) that would be willing to work with me and make a custom sized bag for my motor cycle

Thank you

Bought a waterproof bag for my motorcycle. Duffle bag shape with roll over top. I got mine at Central Festival in the big sports shop. They have a variety of shapes and sizes. Most sport shops sell them these days.

Panda Rider in BKK (they ship to CM or anywhere else) has the Kriega line- they're waterproof and might suit your application. It's always nice to have something motorcycle-specific. They're prices are inline with the US, which is a nice change from the usual higher accessories cost in Thailand.

I no longer ride but looks like a good source....

Here's a link to a motorcycle duffel bag that we've been using for the past 5 years. It looks small in the photo but it's easily big enough for clothing and accessories for two people for a week. My wife and I have been making four and five day trips with it, and haven't even un-zipped the side expansion panels. (And she brings along her laptop!) There are two external pockets as well as an attached area for wet or dirty clothing outside the main bag but under the top flap. Technically, it's only 'water resistant,' but we don't put the rain cover on it unless there is a real extended downpour. It attaches and removes quickly and easily with four Fast-tex buckles. 15 seconds and it's back on the bike and ready to ride.

Here's Youtube video of it mounted.
