Could someone kindly advise how to render the auto lever into neutral when parking where it may need to be pushed to move,like in some shopping malls, thanks.

Easy, easy...

On the top right side of your automatic shift level, you have a little black button " shift lock" ; you press it and with your other hand you pass on position "N" ; don't forget to do not use your hand brake

An easier method is to park where you are not blocking someone's exit. I remember once i parked at Queen Sirikit Hospital and when i came back someone had parked across the front of my car, even though there were dozens of empty spaces further up the car park. The owner was obviously too ar*ed to walk 10 metres.

Iv'e often thought this method, supposing someone has parked across a little old lady's car and there's no one about to help her, <deleted> is she suppose to do ?
