I use to think that Bernie would run as a third party but now that Hillary is about to be indicted I really truly think he is going to get the nomination. With that said, do you think Hillary supporters will change over to Bernie or just stay home and sob ? Just wondering

I wish Bernie and Trump had ran Independent. We would at least have 4 candidates on the ballot and the two corporate parties would have probably finished in 3rd & 4th place in the balloting. That would also help reinforce to the lemming voters that it's ok to vote for an Independent candidate rather than simply voting based on the media fabricated bullshit that a vote for a 3rd party is wasted

I think Hillary is subservient to the corporate party while The Donald IS the corporate party. There should be a book in the making similar to Thomas Frank's book "What's The Matter With Kansas" only dealing with the topic "how can a corporate insider be seen as being able to fix the corporate state". 2016 itself is likely a loss. Four more years of gridlock might be the best outcome. I am thinking more in terms of Bernie and Trump setting the stage for candidates in 2020 and beyond. The current system needs to be blown up before it can be fixed

In such case, the most important thing that could happen this election is for Bernie to get some of his people on rules committee for Democratic convention and change the Super Delegate rigged system ...

Unlikely she will secure enough pledged delegates, so an indictment is about the only way I would see a chance that super delegates would likely reconsider throwing support behind Bernie

... Also for those that support Hillary you should also want FBI to finish their investigation and make a recommendation by then as well...

So this issue can be settled before general election

I think this election is far from done. I cannot believe that the old guard of the Republican Party are going to hand over the keys to Trump without a fight. They have something up their sleeve. Karl Rove is chomping at the bit.

I'll try this one last time. Following is what the 12th Amendment to the Constitution says.

1. What this says is the candidate having the greatest number of votes in the Electoral College shall be declared the winner but it must be by a simply majority (270 votes).

2. If no person has obtained the simple majority, the three persons having the highest numbers of electoral college votes will immediately be voted upon by the House of Representatives to select the President.

In other words, only the top three electoral college vote winners shall be eligible to be voted in as President if the House of Representatives makes the final decision.

The House simply cannot vote just anybody into office, according to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution, which is the governing document on Presidential elections.

I am going to go way out on a limb here. But knowing America's history of covert action destroying countries and economies, the reason Venezuela is not brought up by anyone is because of the American involvement. This is speculation on my part. I have no proof. But I do have a history to go by.

I am guessing the US intelligence community (CIA etc) saw the passing of Hugo Chavez as a good time to destabilize Venezuela. So they did for 2 reasons. Control of oil. Second, regime change. Install a more neoliberal leader (see Brazil below)

The extremely low oil prices at present not only destroyed Venezuela's economy but also Russia's. (Pattaya's well went dry??) Along with low oil revenues to Iran. So you have 3 economies mentioned here with struggling economies mostly due to low oil prices that just happen to be 'enemies' of the USA.

Also out on a limb here (without proof):

I believe that the USA saw a way in to destabilize Syria during the Arab Spring Uprising in 2011. Syria was one of the 7 Middle East / North African countries on the USA destroy/destabilize list since the early 1990s.

I think we will also find in time, that the USA had its fingers in the 'coup' against Dilma Rousseff. Brazil has been left wing for a long time and is actively involved with "BRICs" which is a competitor to US banks and the US dollar / Bretton Woods system. The new party is neoliberal.

Dig beneath the headlines and you see a pattern of US gov't involvement in things globally. Surely this gives rise to conspiracy theories but that is in part what the powers that be rely on. Plausible deniability.

Trump/Sanders/Clinton will not address this. If you think some leader is going to come riding into Washington DC on a white horse fix this empire / imperialism, then let me remind you why Sanders and Trump have a platform today: corruption. The US government is wholly owned subsidiary of the corporate/banking/finance state. The US gov't today is the 'rented mule' for the corporate state.

Some people collect stamps. Others BS. 'Saying you're out on a limb has got to be the understatement of the year. Yeap - just make the stuff up, eh?

Let's start with the "Daily Caller" nothing but a lying right wing rag that should always be taken with a bucket of salt, I had a better word, but I would probably be censored, again. We need a revolution in America and have had for many decades. The right wing neocon Republicans and neoliberal Democrats, again I have better names, have destroyed not only the middle/working class but the ideals of America and most of the Mid-East. The "dumbing down" since the Reagan cabal has had a terrifying effect on the ability of many Americans to reason. Amply demonstrated by some of the posters here. I advocated for revolution back in the tricky dicky Nixon days, non-violent of course. Throw the bums out and elect those who want the people to do well, corporations and the rich to pay their fair share for a change, and won't blow up half the world in efforts for profit.

.Looking at both the Clinton's and the orange monster's problems, which continue to get worse, it is possible that neither will be a candidate for election, certainly neither should ever be president. Things are starting to come out about the Trump, sorry can't use his real name, and it appears that cracks are showing in the media's 24/7 coverage of him. Maybe they have finally gotten tired of his bullcrap, it certainly isn't out of ethics. When Carl Bernstein says the party is worried about the Clintons, he is sending a direct message as that has been his job for some time. Unofficial official spokesman. I posted links earlier.

.Bring it on "Occupy", the Democrat Party has long deserted it's base and it's principals, in fact it was the Clintons that were behind that. The Democrat Party needs to get back to the party of the "New Deal".

.And nobody will be protesting because they feel "entitled". It is their Constitutional right! That is RIGHT, not given privilege, RIGHT. They will be protesting because the game is rigged and the Party no longer represents the people, it represents Wall Street criminals/banksters and the military/spy/industrial complex.

I'm all for Occupy the Convention, as I was for the original OWS that was busted up by the Obama administration on orders from Wall Street criminals/banksters. I'm not a fan of Rolling Stone magazine like I was in the 60s. Too corporate today. The interviewer tries a couple of times to steer Bernie off political message and Bernie pulls him right back to the issues. Just like he does with Clinton in the campaign. There is no need for trash talk. The issues are what we need to talk about he says.
