Asylum-seeker reception centre petrol-bombed in Finland

"These kind of attacks are beyond comprehension. To attack a place where families with children are staying. What have these people done? Nothing"

HELSINKI: -- Police are investigating after three petrol bombs were thrown at the entrance of an asylum-seeker reception centre in central Finland.

Around 80 people were inside the building at the time, half of them children. They all escaped injury, but the building, in Petäjävesi, suffered smoke damage.

A man has reportedly been arrested.

“This is once a again a terrible incident. It is also very sad. I condemn this kind of behaviour and I hope that everybody else will do the same,” said Pekka Annala, the centre’s executive manager.

“These kind of attacks are beyond comprehension. To attack a place where families with children are staying. What have these people done? Nothing. This kind of behaviour must stop.”

Thirty-two-thousand asylum seekers arrived in Finland last year.

Prime Minister Juha Sipilä had proposed opening up his second home to refugee families. But that offer has since been withdrawn, after what’s described as a “security reevaluation.”

The finnish government is to blame ,by allowing these potentially dangerous people into there beautiful country .Dont worry they will soon be detonating bombs there themselves.

This is strange for Finns to do something like this. Maybe the stories/videos of ungrateful refugees/migrants complaining about the country, food & facilities have taken their toll.

Posted

Of course this kind of attack is beyond reasonable, but it is comprehensible. People

are upset and there governments are not listening.

To paraphrase Ban Ki-moon, these are criminal actions, but they are human nature considering the disastrous consequences of European governments open borders policies.

When an asylum seeking resident of a similar centre in Sweden murders one of the helpers, it is little wonder that counter action is seen in neighbouring countries. It's not right, of course, but it wouldn't happen if they weren't there.

And so it will begin. Small isolated incidents until Europe is gripped by a civil war against the governments and migrants and many many innocents will die. The time is coming when Enoch Powell prophesied concerning unrestrained immigration policies and anti-discrimination legislation that

"As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding; like the Roman, I seem to see 'the River Tiber foaming with much blood.'"

Stock up your pantry!

Pure thai thinking. You are always in the wrong because if you weren't in thailand it wouldnt have happened.

I hope they lock the guy up and throw away the key, his actions could easily resulted in the deaths of many, including many children. No excuse for it.

Your perception is that there is no excuse for it, but you are not immersed in the situation.

There is a vid on youtube of a town hall meeting in Germany where the small town has been over run by immigrants, whose population/numbers exceed those of the town. Residents express concern that the female children are being sexually taunted and harassed as they walk to and from school. Parents are concerned that summer is coming and the girls wear less/lighter clothing. The answer from the Town Mayor is "make sure your children cover up and tell them to walk home a different way" !!! No attempt at instilling law and order or establishing the local community rights. You can imagine the reaction from the residents "our town/our country etc etc", creating massive resentment and hatred, There will be an ignition point at some time and there will be a blood bath, it is not "if" it is "when".

More Euronews blatant propaganda....

"Thirty-two-thousand asylum seekers arrived in Finland last year." Even if this figure is correct (unlikely) they are not all genuine asylum seekers, and they are certainly not all women and children.

Nor seem to be the media which appear to be in cahoots with the governments. You will notice the obligatory kiddie photo accompanying the OP, which I fear will derive the opposite result of what they are expecting in the current political climate.

NeverSure - With respect, I consider myself to be far to the left of what I imagine you would think of as far left nut job territory, yet here we are trading 'likes'. Please don't make the mistake of comparing the left with the current crop of naive hand-wringers.

This didnt happen in Germany.

No matter how you dance around it there is no justification for vigilante acts such as this that could have killed many children.

But you do try to justify it.

Thanks. I wonder how many of your posts I have liked? It's a lot as I'm sure you recall. I have never seen you as unreasonable. I do think that what's happening in Europe is unreasonable.

Cheers.

Agreed. What we see here is not leftist politics. This is a completely new breed altogether, I guess they swing left but nothing like standard left politics. Maybe we need to rename them or rebrand them or just a collective noun would do "A tinfoil Hat of Lefties", "An Apology of Lefties" "A Ridiculous Of Lefties", or maybe "A Suicidal of Lefties".

No, but it happened in Europe, and both nations happen to be in that part of the world and both suffering the same issues.

If you think my post try's to justify this crime then read again, because you are very wrong.

Saying "this is obscene bang him up in jail for life" does NOT solve the problem, it just stops him doing it again, what happens in two years when the jails are full? Yes put him in jail, BUT in order to solve the problem you have to understand what his perception is (that does not mean you have to agree with it!). A perception is just that, a perception and on the grand scheme of things it does not matter if it is right or wrong, to the individual who has the perception it is his truth, it is his way of the world. Watch the video I mention, not hard to find and see how 'group think' is now moulding the perceptions of the Germans in one particular town - this is just one! Perceptions are a little bit like attitudes. Attitudes are contagious-is your's worth catching!

The way this crisis is being handled may well be helping 200 000 victims in Europe but it is creating another set of 100 million victims and that will reach boiling point at some time or another, and your cries of "there is no justification" will be like tumbleweed across the desert. We need to start understanding WHY normal people are starting to act like they are doing and then do something about it. It is OK Merkel or Cameron letting them all in (as one example), they live in their Government protected castles and do not have the very fabric of their lives ripped away from them, they are not the ones whose daughters will be raped. The 'real' people are afraid for their way of life and if nothing is done there will be a reckoning. That is not justification on my part for anything, it is just fact.

What we see are certainly not right wing. This is the same group that brought us the EU with open borders. Without that, this current issue wouldn't unfold as easily.

There has long been some group or another that mistakenly thought a one-world government and a homogenization of people would assure peace. How wrong they are as proven by non-stop civil wars within various countries. Much less could anyone hope to bring various religions and ethnicities together to agree on all things.

The first time I recall having a one-word government proposed to me personally as it was on the international stage:

"Imagine"
by John Lennon
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Cheers.

The press indeed makes great fanfare of such cases but studiously ignores bad press for migrants, as do the police who conceal criminal activity by migrants.

This is true, sadly it's not the peoples fault , fault lies with the idiots that supply ISIS with money and arms, the refuggees could be housed in safe zones in the middle East, probably at the cost of a couple of ballistic missiles, or a few air or drone strikes.

Sadly I think the situation is out of control and refugees should not ne allowed into any countrys as the strain is causing havoc to health and wellfare systems, let alone the fact that insurgents are amongst the innocent.

Arms companies are having a ball making huge profits, the psycopathic war mongerers are playing war games in the middle east and have reduced it to rubble all in the name of democracy.

Now the idiot peace makers want to have talks on ending conflict in Syria with the head of the terrorist group fighting alongside ISIS in the talks and excluding Syrias side.

Then threatening to invade with Saudi and other troops, the very saudis that have been supplying American arms to ISIS.

The biggest choke/vomit on this part of the story is that they expect Joe Citizen- simple to believe them.

The truth is, they want to go to the negotiation table with the rebels who have been fighting with ISIS and exclude ASSAD in other words we win your excluded ISIS wins if not we will Gazump you and your mate Puitn and invade you with Saudi troops who are ISIS supporters we win ,we win.

I think that might fuel the start of WW3.

Today the news in Europe is the "anti-islam/immigration" protests. This is as noteworthy as it is predictable. In fact, this was predicted right here on TV by posters last year, before the facts were revealed that media and government colluded to suppress 'migrant' crimes, or not report in the media at all. From Finland to Denmark to Germany to France people are responding in the only way they could. Government, providing no intelligent narrative nor even a compass bearing to their nations, set the framework for both the problem and the responses. Real people are suffering. Real muslims not remotely associated with this travesty will suffer. Numerous people living in the political center now find themselves lumped in with "right wing" groups, some who really are abhorrent just because they object to the desecration of their way of life and security. These disparate acts of violence or even vocal rage will increase and those who the 'migrants' will soon respond in kind under the cover of "defensive" attacks. This cycle of violence will go down in history as easily avoidable. It therefore seems contrived.

Well, it's certainly the case that Merkel, Hollande etc are the natural allies of the migrant hordes.

When the new Polish prime minister talked about his priorities of "patriotism, conservatism, and Christianity", he uttered the three words which European "elites" most detest, and which migrants would also see as major obstacles to their aims and goals. They share the same common enemy -- traditional European culture.

The only major difference between the migrants and the Euro-fantasists is that the migrants are more grounded in reality. They know why they're in Europe, they know what they want, and they know how to get it.
