X-mas Dinner

Hi, Im alone with my daughter 7yo. for x-mas on Samui, and I just wonder if some other familys would like to meet somewhere and have a REAL x-mas dinner ?

We are tired of the hotels x-mas dinners.......so it would be great if someone know where they do serve "farang" x-mas food.

Im a Scandinavian, but live in Asia, so I always miss the food on such a special day !

Restaurant Sibelius is going to make again the best and greatest Scandinavian x-mas buffet in Koh Samui. 2 top chefs from Finland prepare huge buffet. Christmas ham, hot and cold smoked and "Cognac gravad" salmon, fish roe, different salads(shrimp, mushroom etc...), potatos, meatballs, sausages, many different kind of herrings, potato and carrot casseroles, pate's, breads, cheese's, cakes biscuits etc.....

Location is in Soi Malibu resort, near Tops supermarket.

Last Christmas it was 1950thb, children under 12yo for free.

I guess that is pretty close now also.

I have to recommend Sibelius, not the cheapest but worth every baht spended.

And if everything mentioned above is on Offer, it's NOT expensive.. what about drinks?

24.12.2006 we have 2 settings first one is 18.00 and later is 20.30.

We are talking about a scandinavian restaurant so ofcource santaclaus is coming and give a presents for a children (and maybe also for parents????)

The price is included 1 glass of mulled wine and many shot of cinnamon vodka!!

For the special event we have put the prices of wines also down.

25.12 we sell "christmas platter" this is almost same what we have in buffet but in a plate.

Anything to ask for more information, just come and ask in Sibelius.

We are going to make some catering also, if you want eat some good X-mas food at home please contact us.

We make much more catering things always:

- gravad salmon

- smoked salmon etc..

- many kind of meat and fish products, salads etc...

X-mas buffet on 24.12 we take reservations and deposit from 1.12.2006

I see Coco Blues are doing Christmas dinner again this year.

We had a great meal there last year and I recall it wasnt as expensive as a lot

of places. Thai menue and Childrens too.

Mike at Bua Kao often does a very nice Xmas feast.

Had a great xmas dinner at Tropical Murphies last yr. On a par with good old mums. Opp Mc Donalds in Chewang.

Cant remember how much, but good food and atmosphere and two sittings.

Only thing I remember after midnight, is the torrential rain, fogetting where my bike was and staying the night where I probably shouldnt have!!!
