Mini bus smash in Surat Thani

SURAT THANI: At around 10-50 today 13th February, a mini bus carrying passengers from Surat Thani airport to Krabi collided with a truck.

The truck was carrying 12 passengers, some of whom were tourists. Several sustained severe injuries, no fatalities have been reported.

I have done butterworth to haatyai in one of those vans…absolute lunacy….guy driving at top speed despite pouring rain and 20 metre visibility.

Strange, can't see the truck clearly but they must have been in the back of or more likely they were in the mini van just poor reporting

3.5 hours from central Surat to Phuket town.

But then you have to ask in Thai Language.

That will be the express bus.................try the normal one its cheaper and quicker
