Recently signed up for this service, this is the branch of expat TV which provides only the sports channels from UK, Sky Sports and BT Sports. The service is streaming to my laptop with a good internet speed, but having a few problems, wonder if anyone else has experience or feedback.

What I find when I double click the icon to open the site is quite often, you cant get it to play, and you have to keep opening and closing the site maybe three times before the "mouse" icon appears ( if you have it you will know what I mean) then it will open and play.....however, quite often, it only stays open for maybe ten minutes then the frame freezes and you have to go through the whole process again from scratch.

I have contacted their help desk, and they are very prompt with replies, but not much help, they say they have no technical issues their end maybe its a problem with my graphics card which it isnt, I already checked.

Any feedback from other users appreciated....is it only me or is this a regular problem with expat premium tv?

It doesnt matter what your technical problem is, ThaiExpatTV always tell you that it's your graphics card. whistling.gif

But I admit that I dont really understand your problem. I see no "mouse icon" when I use their software. I start the programme, the splash screen displays almost instantly with details of how it is checking servers, downloading data, processing data etc and then the main navigation window appears. This is the regular version, not the premium version, but I seem to remember that they were basically the same thing.

Have you checked that you are using the latest version of their software? The software itself doesnt warn you that a new version is available and they dont email you about it either. So if you dont check manually yourself you may never know.

I only really use it on my Android box, but will take a look when I next visit the spare room to do something on my home PC.

It does sound like a possible problem with graphics card/drivers though. Maybe the EPTV app isn't particularly well written? Have you tried unintelligible it and reinstalling a freshly downloaded copy?

Oh, and please FO with nonsense recommending Kodi, because until it offers TV on-demand it's not comparable and even if it did it's still crap and a lot of mucking around compared to EPTV.

I have used it for over a year and have had a few issues - but what are you using to access it ? First thing I would do is send email and get the latest software app - uninstall current app - restart before installing new. They recently updated the Win7 app. If still no go then look at any malware or virus software - add the app and folder to safe/exclude list. Double check logon name and password - app will open then fail if wrong (it stores info when first entered).

I've just fired it up on my work PC (Intel NUC - Intel HD 5000 Graphics) and it updated to v1.77 and performed as expected. The mouse cursor was present and the program loaded quickly.

You could possibly look into your pointing devices driver and see if it is a) up to date or cool.png if there are any known issues. I'm kinda assuming you're running Win 10 on a slightly older laptop?
