Looking for 3 Months Amateur Dog Care in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am going through a messy separation with my Thai wife. Other aspects/challenges/losses of the divorce I can handle / overcome / accept, however when it comes to my dogs my hearts are breaking.

My dogs are 3kg toy poodle and 9kg westie respectively. They are both male and intact. https://scontent.fbkk7-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xat1/v/t1.0-9/10418160_10152582208782425_1981416724012047322_n.jpg?oh=67f01aa1c2989e2b4ceed6fbd6e64c92&oe=575F1A57

I am currently living in Pattaya and working in Chonburi, renting a single storey bungalow near Map Prachan. The reason we rented this house in the first place was to provide some living space for my dogs. And as part of the separation I am going to look for a cheap unit (a dirt cheap THB 2, 3k monthly rental) to move into temporarily. My separation also comes during an awkward time when I am in the process of quitting my current Chonburi company and looking to join a new one.

Now, I am rather confident I will be able to secure a new job in new company in about 3 months time, however I do not know where I will be based - Chonburi, Rayong, Bangkok?

I am looking for dog lovers to temporarily house my 2 dogs. Let's say for a period of 3 months so that I can concentrate on managing my drastic life transition. I would pick up the dogs after 3 months after I start my new job and move into new place.

I do not want to use professional dog care establishment because, honestly, long term care is expensive and in my current financial situation, an unwise spending. I also perfectly understand that I need to compensate whoever willing to take care of my dogs in these 3 months.

I suggest the following (open to suggestion, negotiation, and discussion) :
- I to provide all the food, I provide the bowls

- I to provide a big crate roomy enough to house my 2 dogs

- I to provide a fee of THB 18,000 to be payable THB 6,000 starting of each month

- You should have your own garden (small or big), well fenced enough for the dogs not to be able to escape

- I can also provide an approximately 10m knee high fence if you need it to confine my dogs

- I am perfectly fine if you do not allow my dogs to go indoor. So they will live as outdoor dogs (but confined in your garden) for 3 months. Of course if you want to allow them into your home who am I to say no.

- You to take care yourself of the cleaning up of the dog poo and pee

My dogs don't bark in my home, or in my presence anywhere. However I have no idea whether they will bark if they live in your garden.

I will be deeply grateful to your assistance.

If you are interested, please message me privately and I am perfectly happy to meet you anywhere in the Pattaya region during the weekend with my dogs to discuss matters face to face.

Thank you very much.

As far as can read, that means three months before you get a new job and after that another three month before

you pick up your dogs. That look like six month to me.

Hello AJS, sorry for the confusion. I meant 3 months only. I need someone to house my 2 dogs for 3 months only.

PM me if you get stuck, I might have the perfect solution, okay ? Cheers, JF

If you are going to pay someone B6000 per month you may be able to board both of them at one of the kennels around Pattaya for that price. When we had our dog (he died) we boarded him at Chumsai Dog Care, usually for a few nights but one time for almost two months, and although I don't recall the price I do remember it was quite reasonable. They are located a short distance outside Pattaya off Sukhumvit Road heading north. Here is their website and tel numbers: www.thaipetcare.com 038-241686 086-1407896 Give them a call.

We have used www.thaipetcare.com for years. Can negotiate with them especially on 2 small dogs. You will however, have to pay upfront, leave food and water upfront as well. Unless you go back every month...... No issues to mention as far as our history with them.....We recommend this place.

Water? I remember we always left food but don't recall them asking for water. Maybe your dog is spoiled and only drinks bottled water?

Spaniel maybe you have memory problems. I gave honest assistance, what are you doing?

Please don't take everything so serious, my reply was a joke, but my sincerest apologies if it offended you.
