King's condition improves

BANGKOK, 19 February 2016 (NNT) - The Bureau of the Royal Household has indicated that His Majesty the King’s condition has improved with less fever, and his breathing less accelerated.

In its 21st statement on His Majesty the King’s condition while staying at Siriraj Hospital, the Royal Household Bureau said His Majesty the King showed less fatique compared to the condition on Feb 16 while his pulse rate also improved.

The statement went on that results of blood tests showed no signs of bacterial infection. However, there are still traces of internal infection, and His Majesty still has joint inflammation, but with less swelling.

The team of doctors tending His Majesty the King was continuing to administer two doses of antibiotics intravenously, as well as provide oxygen and physical therapy to His Majesty, pending more results of special laboratory tests, the statement said.

HM the King’s condition has improved

BANGKOK: -- His Majesty the King’s health condition has improved with his body temperature, pulse rate and the breathing rate having dropped, according to the 21st statement issued by the Bureau of the Royal Household.

Blood tests show no sign of bacterial infection but there is still internal infection, said the statement.

Doctors continue to administer anti biotic medication intravenously to HM the King together with oxygen application and physical rehabilitation.

The doctors are still awaiting for results of tests through special means, said the statement.
