Called Uber...no service available?

Decided to finally sign up with Uber last week. One evening tried the service via App and within 8 minutes they were at my door. Next day needed to catch noon flight out of Don Mueang but at 9 am found their App telling me "no Uber taxi available, try later". My location was Ratchada (Din Daeng). Flagged down regular taxi, but may never use Uber again. Anybody get same no service from Uber?

Yes. Rarely, but it does happen, Uber's real-time map shows no cars in my area. But that's not a reason to "never use Uber again". At times, especially during heavy rain, the other taxi apps can also show no cars available.
