Hi

I have Almera Automatic. Basic model (no abs)

3 year old.

Few scratches (nothing that can't be fixed total 5,000 baht)

So basically really good condition with less than 40k km

How much is it worth? Sold privately or to a dealer?

Thanks

A dealership which gives you a part-exchange quote is usually very far off the mark... realistically there is no such thing as part-exchange in Thailand, but usually someone at the dealership will be prepared to buy your vehicle off you and resell it at a profit.

There are a number of better ways to sell your car:

1) Tent / 2nd hand forecourts: These will give you a quick sale, but you'll struggle to get a reasonable price.

2) Expat Websites: ThaiVisa Classifieds, Baht&Sold, ExpatMotors - You are limiting your exposure significantly to just the expat market.

3) Thai Websites: (there are a few)

4) Thai Magazines: The second hand car market runs on these magazines.

Obviously a combination of the above (Expat Adverts, Thai Websites, Thai Magazines) will give you the best exposure..... price wise its the polar opposite of what you would get if someone at your dealership were to purchase your car under the premise of Part Exchange..

By taking a look at some car websites such as one2car.com you will see the target price for your car..... which on the surface appears to be worth anywhere between THB 250,000 and 300,000 (given that any advert seems to have a negotiable markup!)

If you're interested in selling ...PM me

Hi Beach,

For some Reason it won't let me Pm you..

I'm definetly selling the car in 2 months.. I'm Buying the new Honda civic so have no need for the car after that... Just Replaced the ECU Box which was 15000 Baht and it's just had a new Fan fitted 8000 Baht..

If your still interested and can wait then let me know, otherwise I'll post it on a Farang Website rather than a Thai salesman and get offered a silly price..

Thanks David
