The Casino food brand is the best quality with proportional low prices.

So, what will management of Big-C do?!.. I hope it wouldn't lowed quality vs quantity.. with new xxx brand? or?

RabC

In couple of months I notice that Casino product it's insufficiency...exempl shortage off Casino jam.

Below not writing everything.. It can be remained as it is... but may be BigC is changing the supplier with another xxx brand which is lack of quality..

I have really no idea what you are saying apart from the new owners of BigC will continue to stock Casino products.

All discussed in this previous thread and my picture is not so blurry laugh.png

No change, that is what I read from the sign.

Of course some worry about the shareholder change was justified.

Casino is really the best brand of any imported products from any country in Thailand. Pizza included ! Find me any other better frozen pizza as an evidence that you know nothing ?

Sorry, but the Casino frozen pizzas, whilst they have decent toppings (even if they can't be bothered to remove the stones from the olives), the bases are not even as exciting as eating cardboard.

No change is what your read, but not how it is in real life, as usual in Thailand.

Plenty of Casino products have been discontinued.

Just to name a few. 2 kinds of mashed potato powder, 5 kinds of salad dressing, Danish salami slices 200 gr, different spaghetti sauces.

Also EVERY casino product that is still available has increased in price by 15% minimum since change of owner.Didn't know that the Baht/ Euro exchange rate increased by 15%

But also many popular non casino brands have been discontinued lately.

It's going the same way as Makro where you now can have all kinds of frozen fish, as long as they are called Pangasius.

The rich aren't rich enough.

According to a French friend of mine the Casino products do usually appear in low-price segment in France. Doesn't mean they are bad, sometimes produced by brand name companies under different label (see Aldi or Lidl...). And due to the ridiculous import tax policy still have a reasonable price compared to other brand name products here in Thailand. For example I like the Casino jam and their cheese filled wafers.

Found them in my freezer ;-)

Make the dough by yourself, and freeze a pre-baked crust. Toppings you better ad at the time of consumption (but the tomato sauce you can also make in advance and freeze)

Strange things happen indeed with Casino, all 5 products they normally stock in Kanchanaburi are gone ;-(
