PM’s Office Minister urges Thais to uphold unity

Thammarat Thadaphrom

BANGKOK, 27 February 2016 (NNT) – M.L. Panadda Diskul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, has called on members of the public to work in unison in restoring peace and reconciliation in Thailand.

During this speech at the Education Department of the Royal Thai Air Force, M.L. Panadda urged all sides to adhere to His Majesty the King’s teachings and practice love, unity, and peace.

He said one of the causes of social divide in Thailand is a failed political system which creates ongoing conflicts and segregation in the society.

In order to bring peace back, he said everyone must exercise love, uphold reconciliation, and find a common ground.

He also called on civil servants and state officials to carry out their duties with honesty, integrity, and transparency as well as foster morality and ethics among the Thai people.
